Paly PTSA Grant Funds The Palo Alto High School PTSA has financial resources to share with the school community to help make teachers’ and staffs’ jobs easier and more effective, and to support creative and innovative ideas. The PTSA allocates approximately 80% of its operating funds, about $168,000 this year, to support students and instructional programs. While a large portion of these funds go to purchasing items for students - planners, workbooks, departmental supplies, the EXPLORE, PLAN and PSAT – we are making $20,000 accessible to teachers and staff more directly.Paly parents donate money to the PTSA in hopes that it can support and inspire the work you do, which in turn enhances the quality of education for their students. *NOTE, all funds need to be spent in the school year awarded.
Viking Fast Track Grants (Up to $1,000* per request through April 15, 2013) *Grants of larger amounts will be considered. Total Available: $20,000. Viking Fast Track Grant is a combination of the former Viking and Fast Track Grants. Grants of up to $1000 are awarded to teachers and staff to enhance classroom programs and support school-wide goals. Collaboration among staff members is encouraged.
